We conducted an experiment using apple juice, water, tights, banana, biscuits and a sandwich bag to learn about the processes of the digestive system. We then set to work writing an explanation text about the digestive system. We loved it! The practical and hands-on learning experience really deepened our understanding.....even if it did make us feel a little queasy. Check out the video where you can hear us learning about stomach acid.
