Here you will be able to find out more about who we are and what we do.
Your Parents and Staff Association (PSA) is a registered charity (number 1138881). Our aim is to raise funds by bringing together all parents, carers & guardians and teaching staff through community events and activities. Funds raised are spent on projects and items that the school's budget doesn't always stretch to; such as funding the MUGA, the buddy bench and helping out with the repairs to the trim trail.
Throughout the school year we will run events and activities that are fun, a chance to socialise and develop the wider school community; as well as raise funds. Previous popular events have been the School Disco, Christmas Fayre and The Bake Off.
Every parent, guardian and carer of a child at St Michael's is a member of the PSA but it's your choice on how much or how little you'd like to be involved. Whether it's being an official committee member, attending meetings, volunteering at an event, offering your professional skills or simply using your every day online shopping to donate funds.
What we do
The PSA is run by a committee who meet termly to organise events and talk about ways to help the school. We are keen to see new faces so please come along to the next meeting or have a chat with one of us in the playground.
The committee is currently made up of our Chairperson Laura Carr, our Treasurer Simon Downer and Rachel Francis as Secretary. We are very lucky to be well supported by St Michael's with the school represented by Tony Walker and Melissa Pearce.

Our next meeting is on Wednesday 15th of May, 7.30pm at The Plough. We look forward to seeing you there.
We aim to hold one meeting per term and will vary the day/time/location to ensure as many people as possible get the chance to attend. If you have something in particular you would like to discuss please email the Secretary at email@example.com.
