Year 5/6 Tag Rugby Tournament
On Wednesday 11th November, a team of Year 5 and 6s braved the freezing rain to take part in a tag rugby tournament against other schools in the Minster and Joesph Whittaker families of schools. Although we came 5th, the children showed great team spirit and enjoyed the chance to compete with other schools. Thank you to Mr Yates for training the team on Thursday lunchtimes leading up to the event.

Girls Football Club
This term our girls football club have been receiving coaching from Mansfield Town Football Club. It is helping us to grow in confidence and skill and we are working towards forming a team ready t play matches against other schools after enjoying our friendly match against Lowdham Primary School in the Summer.
Using our Sports Premium funding, we held a whole school lacrosse taster day in June with coaches from Next Level Sports. The children loved being able to try a completely new sport and we bought some equipment so that the children can build on their new skills in PE and in Multisports and This Girl Can afterschool clubs.
Girls football friendly match
After lots of training throughout the year with Mr Royston, the girls football team took part in their first football match. We played a friendly match against Lowdham Primary School. My Royston and I were so proud of the bravery and resilience shown by the girls and hope the momentum keeps going!
