Welcome to Class 6!.
We are a busy, hardworking bunch of lovely learners.
Our Teacher is Mr Fry and we are also taught by Mrs Swales on a Monday afternoon, Mr Yates for PE and Mrs Carrington for speelings on a Friday after lunch.
Our topics this term are; 'What we can See and Hear' and 'Why do we Speak English'
Your full PE kit - bring it on Thursdays and leave it in school all week. We have PE on Thursday and again on Friday. Swimming kit (Thursdays for Y4 only)
Homework is due in on Wednesday and new homework is given out on Friday.
Practise your times tables and spellings regularly.
We now subscribe to TT Rockstars which is a times tables website where you can compete against other student in our school and other schools around the world. Our spelling rule goes out in our spelling books every Friday and we test the spelling rule the following week.
We also continue to subscribe to SPAG.com which we use for homework and learning in class.
Read and record in your reading diary at least twice a week - Aim for that 30 read target to get rewards.
Year 3/4 are also taking part in The ROAR Project run by the Lions Club and partner company '7 Billion ideas' This is a STEM project national contest where the children generate ideas, design something that will possible change the world in some way and then pitch their idea to a panel; Dragons Den style!
