Welcome to Honeysuckle.

We are a busy, hardworking bunch of lovely Year 1 and 2 learners.

Our teachers are Mrs Pearce (Monday, Thursday and Friday) and Mrs Taylor (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday). Mr Yates and Mrs Brooks also work with us on a Monday afternoon. There are 28 of us in our class. 

  • Our PE days are Monday and Tuesday. Please ensure you come in your PE kit on these days. 
  • Our spellings are sent out on a Monday and tested on the following Monday. 
  • Times Tables Rockstars homework for Year 2 will start after Christmas. This will be set on a Friday and due in the following Friday
  • Please ensure you are listening to your child read a minimum of three times per week with a signed entry in the diary. 
  • No toys to be brought to school unless item is linked with a topic.
  • Please label all items of clothing being brought into school.

  • 3D Skeleton Shapes

    We constructed 3D shapes using lollipop sticks and blu-tack.

    The edges were the sticks and the vertices were the blu-tack! It took a little patience, but our perseverance paid off and we were very proud of our efforts.
