This half-term, our topic is all about Celebrations where the children will be learning all about different celebrations around the world and how these are celebrated. To explore this topic, we will be reading the following stories: 'Rama and Sita', 'Peace at Last', 'Simon Sock', 'The Nativity', 'Christmas Around the World' and 'The Story of Hanukkah'. Through learning about what different people celebrate, and how they celebrate, it enables the children to understand and appreciate different cultures. This links to our Rainbow Values of Respect and Acceptance.
