Welcome to the Lupins class! Our teachers are Mr. Marshall and Mrs Brooksby. There are 29 of us in the class. Mr Yates teaches us PE on a Thursday pm.

Our teaching assistants are Mrs Lloyd and Mrs Cargill.

• Our P.E. day is Thursday. Please remember to arrive in suitable P.E. kit for these days. Mr Yates will teach x2 hours of P.E. on Thursday afternoon.
• Mr Marshall teaches our spelling lesson on Tuesday. Weekly tests will run Tuesday-Tuesday.
• Please make sure any school uniform is labelled clearly.
• Children should also bring a labelled water bottle every day.

Foresters

For Autumn 1, Lupins have Foresters every Friday pm. Please ensure your child comes to school with a suitable coat and wellies for this. We'll be doing Foresters in all weather.

Homework Expectations

All passwords for online homework should be in your child's reading record books.

• Spelling homework is set every week. Our spelling quizzes are every Tuesday.
• Spelling, grammar and punctuation (SPAG) homework and maths homework are set on a two-week cycle. One week, SPAG homework will be set online on spag.com. The alternate week will be set on maths.co.uk. We anticipate children spend at least a minimum of 30 minutes on this. 
• Times tables should also be completed on 'Times Tables Rock Stars' (TTRS), at least 15 minutes per week.
• We expect children to be reading at home at least 3 times a week and signed by a parent/carer in your child's reading record book.
